A garment can be made with a good pattern and great style and beautiful fabric, it could fit very well, but if the finishing work is not done properly the garment will loose its beauty.
Our finishing lesson will provide you with the skills that are required for creating a presentable project.
In this class you will learn:
- sewing seams
- seam finishing
- sewing different hem styles by hand (invisible hem, top stitched hem, using facing as hem and hand-rolled hemming)
- sewing different hem styles by machine
- joining the lining to the shell at the hem
- finishing arm hole with piping
- tips on ironing
